Importing Data Sheets in the PWS Application

Introduction

The PWS Application allows you to import Data Sheets using a CSV file. This feature enables quick and accurate data entry by uploading a pre-formatted Excel template that contains all active markers for your practice.

This guide explains how to download the template, update marker values, and upload the completed file.


Steps to Import a Data Sheet

1. Access the Data Import Page

  1. Click the "Data" menu item in the navigation bar.
  2. Click the "Upload CSV" button.
  3. You will be redirected to the Upload Data Sheet page.

2. Download the Template

  1. Click the "Download Template" button.
  2. An Excel file will be downloaded with all active markers preformatted for your practice.

3. Enter Practice Data in the Excel File

  1. Open the downloaded Excel template.
  2. Locate the Value column.
  3. Enter your practice’s data for each marker.
  4. Save the file to your computer once all data is entered.

4. Upload the Completed Data Sheet

  1. Return to the PWS Application and navigate to the Upload Data Sheet page.
  2. Select the Date the Excel file represents.
  3. Select the Shift the Excel file represents.
  4. Click the "Choose File" button and select the saved Excel file.
  5. Click the "Process File" button.

The system will now create a new Data Sheet for the specified date and shift, using the marker values from the Excel sheet.
