Deleting a Data Sheet in the PWS Application

Introduction

If a Data Sheet is no longer needed, you can delete it. Deleting a Data Sheet is permanent and cannot be undone.


Steps to Delete a Data Sheet

  1. Click the "Data" menu item in the navigation bar.
  2. You will be redirected to the Data Sheets List View.
  3. Find the Data Sheet you want to remove.
  4. Click the Delete (trash can icon).
  5. Confirm the deletion.

Important Notes

🚨 Impact on Report Cards:

  • If a published Data Sheet is deleted, the next Report Card recalculation will exclude it. This may negatively impact report accuracy.

✅ Report Card Data Integrity:

  • For best results, ensure there is a Data Sheet for each day of the week you want to generate a Report Card for.

✅ Shift-Based Restrictions:

  • The system allows one Data Sheet per shift per day.
  • If multiple shifts exist on the same day, each shift will require a separate Data Sheet.
