Creating a Data Sheet in the PWS Application
Introduction
Data Sheets store daily statistical data for shifts
and markers. The PWS system allows users to create new Data Sheets for
specific dates and shifts.
Steps to Create a New Data Sheet
- Click
the "Data" menu item in the navigation bar.
- You
will be redirected to the Data Sheets List View.
- Click
the "Add New" button.
- Complete
the following fields:
- Date
(Select the date the data represents.)
- Shift
(Select the shift the data represents.)
- Marker
Data Values (Enter the data values for each marker.)
- Click Save
to store the Data Sheet.
- Click Cancel
to return to the list view without saving.
Important Notes
✅ Cloning Feature: After
saving a Data Sheet, the system will display the newly created Data Sheet. You
can modify the date, shift, and marker data values, then click Save
again to generate a new Data Sheet (instead of editing the existing one).
✅ Draft Status: When
saved, a Data Sheet is marked as "DRAFT" until it is used in a
Report Card, at which point it changes to "PUBLISHED."
